DESCRIPTION: By popular demand, Designer Joi will share her secret to quality pattern design through draping (sculpting) fabric on an industrial form. Not all draping classes are equal and Joi will share tips and tricks for making your pattern great not just good. This hands on class includes the student's own Designer Joi custom industrial half scale form that you will learn and make samples on. It is also yours to take home afterwards. You will also learn Joi’s approach to measuring the body and applying these half scale designs to full size garments. This is a great foundation for expanding your design and sewing abilities. Also ideal if you plan to participate in Half Scale design competitions, pursue a career in fashion. This class is open to all skill levels from beginners wanting to learn a new skill to those with experience draping wanting another perspective as well as a designer’s eye to perfecting your technique. This is Joi’s most popular class and it sells out quick so register soon as space is limited.

- 4 yards of 45” on grain muslin
