This 9-month program teaches leadership skills and provides participants valuable knowledge about Siouxland.  The monthly sessions focus on various aspects of Siouxland, including education, public safety, non-profits, arts and social media, economic development and politics and government.   Participants go through the Gallup Strength Finder and learn how to turn their talents into strengths.  A Positive Leadership curriculum is taught, which focuses on different aspects of leadership, including authenticity, purpose, advocacy, resilience, community building, reason and gratitude.  Participants work in teams to partner with a community agency to complete a project that will add value to the community.  This year, participants also were able to experience firsthand a refueling mission by the Air National Guard Refueling Wing.   To learn more about what our employees experienced, visit www.leadershipsiouxland.org or visit Leadership Siouxland on Facebook.  Applications currently being accepted for the 2018 – 2019 class.   Apply now to secure your spot!  For questions, contact Peggy Smith, Executive Director, at 712-898-8594.
