Milwaukee Wiener House, famous since 1918, is celebrating an amazing 100 YEARS of serving Siouxland. Join us for a ribbon cutting on October 19th when owners John and Mike Eliades will reminisce about the restaurant's history and about the Centennial Anniversary festivities planned for the week of October 22nd.
The 100-year celebration will take place the week of October 22nd through October 26th. Kicking off the festivities will be the installation of a commemorative street sign. The City of Sioux City will honor Milwaukee Wiener House by placing a ‘MIL WIENER ST’ street sign at 301 Douglas Street on Friday, October 19th. The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on that day at 11:00 a.m. where the week’s events will also be announced.
Monday, October 22 – 4:00 p.m. - Proclamation at City Council @ City Hall, 5th floor
Tuesday, October 23 – 4:00 p.m. - Brioux City Brewery Launches 100-year beer @ MWH
Wednesday, October 24 – Classic Cars Welcome All Day! @ MWH
Friday, October 26 – 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Customer Appreciation Day! 100 pennies ($1.00) for a hot dog (Dine in only; maximum of 2 per person only)
